Dental implants are fittings that are placed into the jaw bones upon which crowns and bridges can be placed. They have the great advantage that once placed they are fixed and not removable and for many people they are the closest we can restore to the original teeth. They do involve some surgery and are relatively more expensive than bridges or dentures. Please feel free to ask your dentist about them as an option.
